Kyrie Irving took the league by storm and hijacked the NBA Trade Deadline by demanding a trade away from the Brooklyn Nets. The ball is now in the Nets’ court to actually move forward and trade him. While that’s far from a guarantee, it finally seems like Kyrie is going to move on from Brooklyn. And it would be in the best interest of the team to trade him at the deadline.
There will likely be at least some teams interested in Kyrie; the question is how many of those teams already linked to Kyrie will actually emerge as serious suitors. At least in my opinion, there’s one team that is likely to go all-in on Kyrie this time around – the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers don’t really have much to lose and they desperately need to make a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline. Acquiring Kyrie would qualify as the Lakers making a big move. A trio of Kyrie, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis would be mighty interesting heading into the playoffs.
