Mo Bamba to the Golden State Warriors

Leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline, the word on the street is that the Golden State Warriors are looking for frontcourt help to solidify their depth. One player that would make sense for the team is Mo Bamba. The Warriors could target Bamba ahead of the deadline in an attempt to add a starting-caliber player to their bench.

In exchange, the Warriors would either have to part ways with a future first-round pick or one of their young players. With how rough James Wiseman has looked this season, I’d imagine that the Warriors would rather part ways with him than a future pick.

Wiseman would get a fresh start with the Orlando Magic and could actually get a shot to grow alongside the team’s young core. The pressure would be off of him and he’d be able to develop at his own pace.

This is a deal that works for both sides. I’m not sure if it will happen at the NBA Trade Deadline, but you can certainly argue that it should.
