Mike Conley to the LA Clippers

The LA Clippers are looking for a point guard heading into the NBA Trade Deadline and there’s one that makes sense more than others – and that’s Mike Conley Jr. He may not be the player that he used to be with the Memphis Grizzlies, but he could still prove to be a valuable player for the Clippers down the stretch.

And the Clippers don’t have a ton of tradable assets that they would be willing to move, but they could get a deal done with the Utah Jazz in which they would essentially match salary and throw in Terrence Mann and a future first-round pick to make the deal worth it.

I’m not sure if Conley would raise the ceiling for the Clippers all that much, but he would add a veteran to the backcourt that the team clearly wants. And this is a deal that makes sense for both sides.
