23. Sacramento Kings – Colby Jones, G, Xavier

As a team that has made some major strides this season, the Sacramento Kings could finally be picking toward the bottom of the first round in the NBA Draft for the first time in quite a while. That will open some flexibility for the team in their approach.

One player that they could take a flier on is Xavier’s Colby Jones. The junior guard is averaging 15 points, five assists, and five rebounders per game on 51 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range.

24. Brooklyn Nets – Ricky Council, G, Arkansas

With another first-round pick, the Brooklyn Nets will have the ability to set a really solid foundation for the team’s rebuild moving forward. Another player that they could take a chance on in the first round is Ricky Council. He has the size and measurables that suggest he has the chance to be a good pro once he fully develops.
