NBA Mock Draft 3.0: Spurs land Victor Wembanyama; Raptors jump into top 5
23. Portland Trail Blazers (via New York) – Terquavion Smith, G, NC State
With another first-round pick, the Portland Trail Blazers could take a flier on Terquavion Smith, a standout, offensive-talented sophomore out of NC State. Smith is averaging 17 points and four rebounds per game on 37 percent shooting from the field.
At this point, there are questions as to whether Smith is just a volume scorer or if he can be something more heading into the NBA.
24. Sacramento Kings – Kyle Filipowski, C, Duke
The Sacramento Kings have been one of the best stories in the NBA this season. They are clearly on the right track and could hammer that idea down by making another smart selection in the 2023 NBA Draft. They won’t be selecting in the top 5 again, however.
This time, they are projected to have a late first-round pick. One prospect that they could target is Duke big man Kyle Filipowski.
