The case for the Golden State Warriors

Not just the Sacramento Kings, but the Golden State Warriors are a team that no one in the Western Conference should want to see in a first-round playoff matchup. The defending champions have not played great basketball this season but they could be getting healthy and everyone back at just the right time. With rumors that Andrew Wiggins could come back for the playoffs, it could completely change how this season ends for the team.

The Warriors are still the defending champs until they lose in a seven-game series and Wiggins is arguably the team’s second or third-best player when he’s healthy and playing at a high level. If the Warriors are adding that quality of a player this late in the season, it will only raise their potential playoff ceiling.

We know how good the Warriors are. They’re a dangerous team that even though they’ve been extremely inconsistent this season, they’re not a team you want to face in the playoffs. Because of their experience, coaching, and deep roster, the Warriors are probably the team the Kings most don’t want to see in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
