OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors

OG Anunoby was a player that was reportedly nearly traded at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline and I’d have to imagine, if those rumors were indeed true at the time, that the Toronto Raptors are at the very least going to revisit some of those conversations. Whether or not Anunoby ends up getting traded remains to be seen but he’s certainly a name to keep an eye on heading into the offseason.

Anunoby would be an excellent fit for this team. He may not be the primary scorer that some of the other big-name stars are, but what he consistently brings on both ends of the floor is a trait that not many other players in the league possess.

Adding a player as fierce as Anunoby is on the defensive end could help the team on that end of the floor across the board. Plus, the Knicks would have another much-valued wing defender that they would certainly need if they intend to make deep runs in the East playoffs.

Anunoby may not be the splash move that would garner huge headlines but he’d certainly help improve the team reach another level in their pursuit of a championship.
