Aaron Gordon is often overlooked due to other players around him and their ability to divert attention. Gordon does most of the dirty work for the Nuggets as he is great at crashing the boards, defending the opposing threat in the deep post, and can even knock down the long ball whenever teams double down on Nikola Jokic.

This will be Gordon’s 4th time in the postseason and he has played well during his last two appearances with the Nuggets. When Gordon was acquired by the Nuggets, he was able to fit right in as he became a lethal weapon on offense as Jokic’s passing ability has opened up the floor for him as it has made it easier for him to get buckets.

Gordon also brings an element that has helped Jokic’s playmaking ability and Gordon’s ability to move without the ball has been very effective as he has been the recipient of many of Jokic’s assists. The combination of Jokic’s passing ability and Gordon’s off-ball movement is fun to watch but is a headache for opponents as these two players complement one another as they maximize each other’s strengths as each one feeds off what the other does best.
