The Golden State Warriors will lose in the first round

Entering their first-round series with the Sacramento Kings, there are already many that are counting out the favorites. The Golden State Warriors are the defending champions but let’s put some respect on the Kings. Sacramento is the 3rd seed in the Western Conference for a reason. They have one of the most explosive offenses in recent NBA history and I believe that they’re going to put on a show against the Warriors.

The Kings may not have the names that the Warriors have but the trio of De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and Kevin Huerter has been really good for them this season. And it’s not like the Warriors have been this lockdown defense this season. That may have been their MO in the past, but that’s not this year’s Warriors. And that is a mistake that many are making in analyzing this series.

I predict that the Warriors are going to lose in the first round against the Kings. I don’t believe that Golden State is suddenly going to flip a switch and be this overwhelming contender in the West. That’s just not going to happen.
