The LA Clippers are going to be a handful for the Phoenix Suns

If there’s one thing that we learned from Game 1 between the LA Clippers and Phoenix Suns, it’s that whoever comes out of this series will have had to truly earn it. Even if the favored Suns end up winning this series, the Clippers are not going to roll over. They’re going to fight tooth and nail to survive, even without Paul George. And that’s what we saw in Game 1. In a 1-0 series hole after a Game 1 loss, the Suns has their work cut out for them.

And considering that the Suns were 8-0 with Kevin Durant in the lineup entering the NBA Playoffs, perhaps there were some that believed it would be easy for the Suns in this first-round series. After all, PG was out.

The Suns may end up making a deep playoff run in the Western Conference but they’re not the overwhelming favorite that perhaps many believed they’d be. Additionally, it seems as if the Clippers could be a real threat to win this series and make a deep run themselves.
