The Golden State Warriors are a problem

For all those that believed the Golden State Warriors were going to roll over in their first-round matchup against the Sacramento Kings, guess again. There’s no question that we should put some respect on the Kings for not only their regular season but for how they outlasted the onslaught from the Warriors in Game 1. At the same time, something that was quite evident in Game 1 was the fact that the Warriors are very much still a problem. And if they manage to get by the Kings, this is a team that could win the West.

The return of Andrew Wiggins couldn’t have gone better for the Warriors either. Wait, scratch that, I suppose they could’ve won the game. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Wiggins back in the starting lineup by Game 2. He finished with 17 points and didn’t look overwhelmed at any point.

Even though they lost Game 1, the Warriors looked like a team that could make another NBA title run. If they can get by the Kings, watch out. Perhaps they could flip the switch.
