17. Los Angeles Lakers – G.G. Jackson, F, South Carolina
With the No. 17 pick, the Los Angeles Lakers could look to add a player that would help give them some depth heading into next season. One prospect that would make sense, especially considering how fragile Anthony Davis has proven to be recently, is G.G. Jackson.
Jackson is a versatile forward and we still don’t know what his ceiling is. I’m not saying he has a limitless ceiling, but it’s that semi-mystery that should intrigue Los Angeles.
This is just my opinion here, but I believe that Jackson could end up being one of the better players to come out of this NBA Draft. And if the Lakers get a potential contributor at No. 17, that would be considered a huge steal for this team.
18. Miami Heat – Brice Sensabaugh, G, Ohio State
There’s probably a good chance that the Miami Heat ends up trading this pick at the NBA Draft, but if they do end up keeping it there’s a good chance that they’ll try to land a prospect that, at the very least, can shoot the 3.
That’s something that plagued the Heat this season and Brice Sensabaugh is a prospect that would help fill that void for the team heading into next season.
