3. Keyonte George, Baylor

Keyonte George is considered to be one of the more dynamic shooting guards in this year’s class. He has every shot in his arsenal. He can be an instant offense for any team, and we saw that at times during his lone season in college. Though, there are very real concerns for a prospect that left a bit to be desired this past season.

For a player that is known for his scoring prowess, his shooting numbers during his freshman season at Baylor concern me. And I have a feeling that sentiment is going to force his draft stock to suffer unless he is able to tone down those concerns during pre-draft individual work. During his freshman season at Baylor, George averaged 15 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game on just 38 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from 3-point range.

George could go as high as in the top 10 but at the same time could fall just out of the lottery. I have a feeling that his pre-draft workouts will be increasingly important as he attempts to solidify himself as one of the top guard prospects in this year’s NBA Draft.
