How much input should Giannis have this offseason?

The final big question that the Milwaukee Bucks will have to answer revolves around Giannis Antetokounmpo. How much input and influence should he have when it comes to the future of the franchise? On the surface, it would seem like a lot. He’s the best player on the team and might, quite honestly, be the best player in the game. This may be the time for Giannis to work his influence in the front office to retool the roster effectively.

Even though the season ended abruptly, it will open the door for the possibility of excitement this offseason. And Giannis should be leading the charge for that. Should the Bucks blow up the roster? Probably not. Should they try to retool around Giannis, even if it comes at the expense of Khris Middleton and/or Jrue Holiday? Probably.

This core won one championship but it’s hard to see how they win another in the next 1-2 years. This was looking like their best opportunity to do so and they failed. That’s Ok. The Bucks need to get back up and try to figure out this puzzle again.

The good news is that the Bucks have the most important piece. This offseason is about tweaking around Giannis. The question is, can they successfully pull it off?
