Marcus Morris
Depending on what the LA Clippers elect to do during the offseason, they’re a team that could elect to retool their roster. If they decide to blow everything up, Marcus Morris is a player to keep an eye on. He may be a player that they end up moving either way even if they just hope to tweak the roster. Perhaps the Grizzlies could try to target Morris in a potential trade. Maybe even for a possible sign-and-trade of Dillon Brooks?
I’m not sure if the Clippers would be interested, but’s something the Grizzlies should explore. Morris would be a great veteran calming presence in the Grizzlies’ locker room and would give this team a different feel than Brooks does. Even at the age of 33, Morris is still coming off a season in which he averaged 11 points and four rebounds on 43 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range.
He may not be the defender that he was earlier in his career but he’s still a player that could make an impact for a young team that is on the verge of something special.
