15. Atlanta Hawks – Kobe Bufkin, G, Michigan
In an attempt to add more depth to the backcourt, Kobe Bufkin could be a potential target for the Atlanta Hawks just outside the lottery. He’s an intriguing prospect that has begun to make a move up NBA Draft boards. He made quite the jump from his freshman to sophomore season, averaging 14 points and five rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent shooting from 3-point range this past season at Michigan.
With his size and athleticism at the guard position, there’s no question that Bufkin can emerge as one of the more intriguing non-lottery prospects.
16. Utah Jazz (via Minnesota Timberwolves) – Rayan Rupert, G, France
With multiple first-round picks, it’s almost impossible to predict how the Utah Jazz will approach the 2023 NBA Draft. But one interesting prospect that could be available at No.16 is Rayan Rupert. He’s a wing with great size and athleticism. He has the potential to be a difference-maker on the defensive end and is still growing as an offensive threat.
He’s a work in progress and you’d have to imagine that the best basketball of his career is still in front of him, as is hopefully the case for nearly every NBA Draft prospect. But the Jazz could be a great landing spot. They are in the beginning stages of a rebuild and Rupert could grow alongside this team’s core.
