27. Charlotte Hornets (via Denver Nuggets) – Jaime Jaquez Jr., F, UCLA

For a team that is in dire need of productive talent, the Charlotte Hornets could elect to take a flier on Jaime Jaquez Jr. On paper, he would seem like a player that could make a quick impact on a team in the NBA. As a four-year player at UCLA, Jaquez is a prospect that has seen and nearly done it all.

The big question that revolves around him is whether or not his game (as somewhat of an undersized player) can make the transition to the NBA. And that’s probably the biggest reason why he could end up falling into the second round.

28. Utah Jazz (via Philadelphia 76ers) – Sidy Cissoko, F, France

Another first-round pick for the Utah Jazz will give this team another shot to hit on a prospect. The Jazz has a long road ahead of them and taking a chance on a high-ceiling prospect could be worth it for them at this point in the first round.

Honestly, I’m not sure what to make of Sidy Cissoko as an NBA Draft prospect. At least for now, you bet on his athleticism and ability to make his hay on the defensive end of the floor right away. And if he develops on the offensive end of the floor, he will have the chance to be a late first-round steal. He could be a fit for the Jazz.
