NBA Trade Rumors: Ranking every team’s top 3 trade assets heading into the offseason.

The NBA’s conference finals are underway and soon enough a new league champion will be crowned. The NBA Draft Lottery is in the books and the official start of the offseason, which is often signified by the NBA Draft, is right around the corner.

The NBA offseason is one of the most exciting times of the year in all of professional sports. Not only do you get the NBA Draft to kick things off, but you get free agency that follows not far after and the theater that is player movement (sometimes via trade) that is more often than not, second to none.

With the NBA offseason around the corner, in anticipation of what could end up being a chaotic summer, we rank and break down every team’s three best trade assets.

Atlanta Hawks

Trade assets: 1. Trae Young 2. Dejounte Murray 3. Onyeka Okonkgwu

It’s no surprise to see the Atlanta Hawks’ best three trade assets essentially be their young core. The biggest issue for this team is their trio of Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, and Onyeka Okongwu haven’t exactly hit their stride collectively.

And the biggest question for the Hawks is whether or not they’re going to be patient enough to see it through. If they wanted to make a big splash this offseason, you’d have to imagine that one of these three players will have to be traded.
