Trade assets: 1. Bam Adebayo 2. Jimmy Butler 3. Tyler Herro

As the Miami Heat continues on this unprecedented deep playoff run, it’ll be interesting to see how the narratives around this team begin to change heading into the offseason. That said, it would be at least surprising if the Heat didn’t explore a big move during the summer. Whether or not they actually get something done remains to be seen, but they will almost certainly explore a move.

The question is, will it cost them one of their three-best trade assets? Well, that could be difficult to answer. At least on paper, you’d have to agree that Bam Adebayo is the team’s No. 1 trade asset at the moment. He’s young, an emerging star, and is one of those generational big men. Coming in second is Jimmy Butler. Because of his age and contract, he isn’t higher on this list. But he’s still a great player for the Heat.

Even though he’s one of the more polarizing players in the league, you can’t take about the Heat’s best trade assets without bringing up Tyler Herro. Before his injury, he was one of the more consistent elements of the Heat’s offense.

He may not be a “star” just yet, but he’s still an impactful player.
