Trade assets: 1. Plethora of future first-round draft picks 2. Jalen Brunson 3. RJ Barrett

The future is extremely bright for the New York Knicks and I’m not sure when the last time that was the case. They have a ton of flexibility heading into the offseason and there’s not an untradable piece on this team’s roster at the moment. Coming off a trip to the Eastern Conference semifinals, there’s a lot to feel good about for the Knicks heading into the summer.

And one reason why is that they will have the ability to make a big move via trade over the next few months. Their best trade asset right now is the plethora of trade-eligible future first-round picks that they have at their disposal. In addition to those picks, they also have some great young talent and emerging stars. The run that Jalen Brunson just came off of can’t be overlooked either.

RJ Barrett is another great trade asset that the Knicks have that they could use to land a superstar in the future. What you have to love about the Knicks most is the patience that they’ve had recently. They’re waiting for the right opportunity and when it does come, the Knicks will certainly be able to make a deal happen.
