NBA Trade Rumors: As we inch closer and closer to the 2023 NBA Draft, we explore 11 trade possibilities that could create chaos.

Less than a month away, the 2023 NBA Draft (slated for June 22) is slowly creeping up. Once the NBA Finals are completed, it’s the NBA Draft that will officially tip off the start of the offseason. And considering everything that has been reported on and whispered over the last few weeks, the NBA could be on the verge of an entertaining summer full of player movement.

If that ends up being the case, it’s safe to say that the first indication of that will take place at the NBA Draft. In anticipation of that possibility, we explore 11 trade possibilities that could end up creating quite an amount of chaos on NBA Draft night.

The Los Angeles Lakers making a trade

After losing in the Western Conference Finals, there’s a growing expectation that the Los Angeles Lakers are going to try to make a move (likely via trade) to try to improve the roster heading into next season. And equipped with a top 20 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, if the Lakers do make a trade, it will likely include that asset. If they do explore a move on NBA Draft night, it could have at least some impact on how the rest of the draft will unfold.

The good news for Lakers fans is that have to assume that they’re close. Are they a star away? Are they a role player away? Are they a healthy season away? Who knows, but that’s something the Lakers could try to figure on on NBA Draft night.
