Bradley Beal to the Brooklyn Nets

It would not be surprising if the Brooklyn Nets decided to be extremely aggressive this offseason in trying to acquire another star to play next to Mikal Bridges. He’s proven that he has star potential and if the Nets can add another difference-making player during the offseason, this is a team that could end up making some noise in the Eastern Conference. One player that they could look to take a gamble on is Bradley Beal, if he does become available this offseason.

The Nets would have to build a package around future draft picks, assuming they wouldn’t want to trade any of their core players – unless, of course, the Wizards would be interested in taking on Ben Simmons. But I have a hard time envisioning that. Instead, the Nets could cobble together a deal centered around three future first-round draft picks – two via Philadelphia (2023, 2027) and one of theirs in 2028.

If the Wizards wanted a return centered around draft picks, the Nets could make an appealing offer. And they could also throw in a player like Cam Thomas, who has shown some impressive abilities from time to time throughout his young career.
