15. Atlanta Hawks – Gradey Dick, G, Kansas
The Atlanta Hawks are another one of these teams that will have their hands full heading into the offseason. Who knows how the Hawks will end up approaching the NBA Draft but the rumors surrounding this team continue to swirl. Short of making a big deal, which seems unlikely this early in the offseason, Gradey Dick could be a good fit for the Hawks.
He’s arguably the best 3-point shooter in this year’s NBA Draft class and would give the team some depth in the backcourt, along with some insurance if they decide to break up Trae Young and Dejounte Murray.
16. Utah Jazz – Brandin Podziemski, G, Santa Clara
Brandin Podziemski has been rising up NBA Draft boards for the last few weeks. I believe he will settle in this range with a good possibility that he lands on a team that has a clear need in the backcourt. The Utah Jazz is one of those teams. Podziemski seems like a fit for the Jazz for several reasons.
Podziemski is a better playmaker than he is advertised as and is one of the better scorers coming out. He averaged 20 points, nine rebounds, and four assists per game during his sophomore season at Santa Clara. If the Jazz believes in his productivity, he could be the pick here or the Jazz at No. 16.
