17. Harrison Barnes (unrestricted)
The Sacramento Kings have a difficult decision regarding Harrison Barnes this offseason. Barnes was a big reason why the Sacramento Kings enjoyed the success that they had this past year, but it remains to be seen if they’re going to jump at the opportunity to invest in another multi-year deal with Barnes. This could be the ideal time for both sides to move on.
One potential landing spot that makes a lot of sense for Barnes is the Indiana Pacers. They’re reportedly looking for a veteran wing, and perhaps one that can also play some power forward. Barnes would fit that description almost perfectly. As Indiana attempts to take a step forward and make the jump to a playoff team in the Eastern Conference, Barnes would be a solid addition.
Assuming they don’t make a big move for OG Anunoby or another wing player via trade, Barnes seems like a safe potential target for the Pacers. At still just 31 years old, Barnes is coming off a productive season in which he proved to be an important player for the Kings in their impressive run as a top 3 seed in the Western Conference standings this past season.
Barnes averaged 15 points and five rebounds on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range hits past season with the Kings.
Prediction: Indiana Pacers
