28. Coby White (restricted)

Over the past couple of seasons, as the Chicago Bulls have slowly pivoted toward a win-now roster, the role of Coby White had diminished greatly. This past season in Chicago, he averaged his lowest minutes per game of his career (23.4) and points per game totals (9.7). Heading into free agency, it’s clear that he could very much benefit from changing teams.

And considering that, over the past couple of seasons, White had been a common occurrence in the rumor mill, it would be surprising if the Bulls decided to bring him back. It’s probably in the best interest of both sides to part ways this offseason. Maybe Chicago could find a landing spot of his choosing to work some sort of sign-and-trade deal.

A team like the Detroit Pistons seems to make sense. They’re a rebuilding team that will be looking to make some low-risk, high-reward moves this offseason. I can’t imagine the price tag for White will be this offseason, even though he’s a restricted free agent. If the Pistons wanted to take a flier on White, they’d certainly have the money to do so.

White is at the point in his career where he desperately needs a change; the Pistons could offer that and effectively rejuvenate the 23-year-old combo guard.

Prediction: Detroit Pistons
