Jaden Springer, Philadelphia 76ers

As somewhat of a forgotten prospect with the Philadelphia 76ers, the 20-year-old Jaden Springer had quite the impressive sting in NBA Summer League. In the three games that he played in, Springer averaged 22 points and four rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the field. At the very least, Springer proved that he at least deserves a shot to break into the Sixers’ rotation heading into next season.

During his first two seasons in the NBA, Springer has only appeared in 18 games with the Sixers (two during his rookie season and 14 this past year). With the uncertainty that is surrounding this team heading into next season, in which they could be preparing for a post-James Harden era in Philadelphia, it would not be that surprising if Springer managed to inch his way into playing a small role for this team next season.

He’s still incredibly young and has continued to show that he’s willing to put in the work that is necessary to build his way into relevancy with the Sixers. The big question is, will his opportunity come this season?
