Interestingly, there are many around the league that believe Zach LaVine could be the “next” star to be moved after Damian Lillard and James Harden (if those are even two deals that end up happening). If Miami isn’t able to land Lillard, LaVine should absolutely be on their radar as a pivot option.

I don’t think it can be argued that LaVine isn’t a supremely talented offensive player and, at this point, is one of the most underrated players in the league. He’d be a great addition to any team that’s looking for a second or supporting star. And that’s exactly what he’d represent for the Heat next to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. If the Heat isn’t able to hammer down a deal for Lillard, who would easily be the team’s No. 1 option, you can make the argument that pursuing a very strong No. 2 would be the way to go. And that’s exactly what LaVine would be.

Objectively, you’d have to imagine that the Heat would be able to acquire LaVine from the Bulls for Tyler Herro and a couple of future first-round picks. Quite frankly, if the Heat misses out on Damian Lillard, LaVine might be the first call I’d make.
