Worst offseason moves made by Golden State Warriors

While there were certainly some positive moves made by the Golden State Warriors, there were also a couple of moves that didn’t make the most sense for the team.

Traded Jordan Poole

One of the first revolves around the team trading Jordan Poole. This was a necessary move to land Chris Paul but the future repercussions that it could bring. If Poole continues to develop into a star, this is going to be viewed as one of the worst moves made by the Warriors in quite some time.

If he doesn’t, it will look like a great move from the Warriors. At least for now, we have to wait and see how it all pans out. For now, it’s not a move that I loved from Golden State.

The Jonathan Kuminga situation may not be resolved

It was reported earlier this offseason that Jonathan Kuminga would’ve liked to be traded and heading into the 2023 NBA Draft, there were more whispers that were pointing to that possibility. In the end, nothing quite materialized and Kuminga will begin the season on the Warriors roster.

The big question is, will he remain on it throughout the season? He’s certainly a name to keep an eye on and a storyline that is not going away anytime soon.
