Biggest offseason moves: Acquiring Bradley Beal, signing Eric Gordon

How the Phoenix Suns continue to do it is beyond me. You have to credit this franchise for continuing to go all-in no matter the cost. The Suns followed up the big move to acquire Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets at the NBA Trade Deadline by trading for Bradley Beal to kickstart their offseason. Sure, the Beal no-trade clause had to have helped their cause, but the Suns how have the best top 4 core players in the NBA.

To say that an NBA Championship is a very real possibility for the Suns would be a massive understatement. Even though the Suns’ had to reassemble their supporting cast, they have a solid collection of players that should help KD, Beal, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton in their quest to win a title. Of note, the addition of Eric Gordon in free agency could end up being one of the most underrated moves of the offseason.

Here’s what I like best about the Suns’ situation – if all else fails and for one reason or another the roster isn’t clicking, they could also use Ayton as an asset that could, once again, reshuffle the roster around their core. It’s hard to nitpick this team’s offseason.
