Tier 2 – The points guards with All-Star talent/potential

Almost midway through the list, we have arrived at tier 2 of point guards. This is the spot where we begin to introduce the list of players who have the ability to make an All-Star team or have All-Star talent. All these point guards are proven and are on the path toward stardom, if not already there.

16. Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks

Jrue Holiday is one of the most underrated two-way stars in the league and played a huge role in the Milwaukee Bucks winning their first NBA Championship a couple of seasons ago. He might be beyond his “prime” years but he continues to prove that he’s still one of the better lead guards in the NBA.

Holiday is coming off a season in which he averaged 19 points, seven assists, and five rebounds per game on 38 percent shooting from 3-point range. Putting up those types of numbers next to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton is quite impressive.

You can probably argue that he deserves to be higher on this list but I think we’re going to see a bit of a step back from Holiday soon and there are many other young point guards that will likely be taking a step forward this season.
