1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
At least for now, there’s not a better point guard in the NBA than Stephen Curry. When he’s at the top of his game, there are not many point guards in the league that can keep up with him. But it’s not just the fact that he’s the best point guard in the NBA. He’s also the best shooter in NBA history and one of the best winners – he’s won five NBA Championships and will have a solid chance to win a sixth this year.
Even as he enters his age-35 season, Curry continues to play at a high level. He’s coming off a season in which he averaged 29 points, six rebounds, and six assists on 43 percent shooting from 3-point range. He continues to be the most important player for the Warriors and, once again, will only go as far as he can take them this year.
There’s a chance that Curry remains the best point guard in the league for a few more seasons. But even if he does fall off a bit over the next few years, he has a game that should age well. He could easily still have five more years left in his career.
