28. Jaden McDaniels, Minnesota Timberwolves
Jaden McDaniels was one of the most underrated wings in the league last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. McDaniels quietly averaged 12 points and four rebounds on 40 percent shooting from 3-point range. However, it was easy for him to fall under the radar with all the talent the Wolves have on paper. Even though he had an impressive third season in the league, McDaniels has very much to prove.
McDaniels will officially be entering his second full season as a starter for the Wolves and this is the year that he can truly cement himself as a legit force in the lineup for the team. McDaniels is also expected to sign an extension with the team soon. If the Wolves and McDaniels can’t agree to a contract extension before the start of the season, he’ll be able to test restricted free agency next offseason.
With another expected jump in his progression heading into this season, it’ll be interesting to see how the Wolves handle his extension. McDaniels has the talent and potential to swiftly move up this list over the next calendar year.
