NBA Trade Rumors: 4 Dream landing spots for Jrue Holiday
NBA Trade Rumors: Now that Jrue Holiday is likely going to be traded next, we explore four dream landing spots for the all-star guard.
As the NBA remains in a state of shock after the Portland Trail Blazers traded Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, there is still one more big domino that could fall before the official start of NBA Training Camps – a Jrue Holiday trade.
Holiday was part of the package that helped the Bucks net Lillard, but the expectation is that the Blazers are going to flip Holiday sooner rather than later. At 33 years old, and still playing at a high level, there should be a strong market for the All-Star caliber combo guard.
The question is, where will Holiday land? While it’s too early to predict where he could be traded, we’ll explore the four best landing spots that make the most sense.

Miami Heat
Interestingly enough, this wouldn’t be the first time the Miami Heat was interested in acquiring Jrue Holiday. Back when he was initially moved to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Heat did explore trading for him. In the end, the New Orleans Pelicans moved him to Milwaukee. At the right price, it wouldn’t be all that surprising if the Heat checked in on the asking price.
However, considering the bad blood that likely remains after the Lillard situation between the Blazers and Heat, I have a hard time believing either of these front offices will want to work with each other anytime soon.
While the Holiday fit would be fantastic for the Heat, I don’t think there’s a very good chance of this possibility coming to fruition.
