1. Milwaukee Bucks
Even before adding Damian Lillard, the Milwaukee Bucks were already going to be one of the five best teams in the league. The addition of an All-NBA point guard is only going to make this team that much more dangerous on the offensive end. And if there was one concern pre-Lillard trade about the Bucks, it revolved around their ability to get timely buckets on the offensive end in the playoffs.
With Lillard on the roster, that’s no longer a concern for this team. The pick-and-roll sets featuring Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are going to be unfair. These are two generational talents that should bring back some hope and excitement to the franchise. If there are any concerns, they fall on the defensive end of the floor.
Lillard is a small guard and has notoriously struggled on the defensive end of the floor. However, the Bucks are good at nearly every other position where it may not even matter all that much.
The Bucks should be entering the season as the favorites to win the 2024 NBA Championship. Just when it felt as if Giannis’ championship window in Milwaukee was closing, it opened right back up with the addition of Lillard.
