Philadelphia 76ers
Trade candidate: James Harden
This one was probably obvious. One of the biggest question marks going into this season was James Harden’s relationship with the Philadelphia 76ers. He did not attend their media day but eventually made his way to training camp. He seems to be handling the situation very well continuing to be a leader and mentor for the young players as well as newly signed players.
Despite this, Harden has not waivered from his prior trade demands. All signs point to a potential LA Clippers trade, but Daryl Morey is not one to force a trade, similar to the Ben Simmons trade that brought Harden to Philadelphia. A Harden trade seems inevitable at this point.
Phoenix Suns
Trade candidate: Grayson Allen
Grayson Allen was recently acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks this summer as part of the Damian Lillard three-team trade. He provides some shooting and defense but is very streaky even as a role player.
This is the final year of his contract before he can enter free agency. If they see value elsewhere he would be the most likely candidate to be moved out of this revamped Phoenix Suns team.
