Chicago Bulls

Trade candidate: DeMar DeRozan

The Chicago Bulls put all their eggs in one basket to be a win-now team a couple of years ago, first trading for Nikola Vucevic and then adding DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball to go along with Zach LaVine. However, these moves have not translated into wins over the last couple of seasons. They lost in five games to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022 playoffs and just missed the postseason this past season losing to the Miami Heat in their final Play-In game.

If things do not change fast for this team, one of their stars may be on the move with DeRozan being the most likely candidate with his contract expiring this summer.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Trade candidate: Isaac Okoro

In 2020, the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Isaac Okoro in hopes that he could develop into their wing for the future, however, his shooting limitations have hindered his ability to stay on the floor. He was left open on more 3s than any other player in the league last season which made spacing tougher for the stars on the team currently.

The team also invested big money into bringing back Caris LeVert, as well as adding Max Strus and Georges Niang in free agency. It can be assumed his minutes will decrease and the front office could consider trading him to a team that sees a future with him around. Everything the team has done so far has said otherwise.
