The Toronto Raptors will fall apart

After missing out on the opportunity to select a path forward this past offseason, I predict there are going to be some very stiff consequences for the Toronto Raptors this season. While there may be a chance that everything clicks for the team under new head coach Darko Rajaković, I ultimately believe there’s a better chance that everything begins to fall apart for the franchise.

Now I want to make one thing clear. I don’t believe that the Raptors are going to evolve into a complete disaster. I just believe that their decision to not trade Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby this past offseason will be something the front office regrets once again.

Realistically, the Raptors aren’t good enough to make waves in the Eastern Conference and they’re also not bad enough to earn a top pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Essentially, the Raptors are stuck in mediocrity and there’s a good chance they lose both Siakam and Anunoby for nothing this offseason.
