Victor Wembanyama will look like a top 10 player in the NBA

I’m not sure if this is a hot take or not and it may not be with how he looked during the games he played in preseason, but I believe that at around the midway point of the season, there are many that are going to consider Victor Wembanyama to be a top 10 player in the NBA. Every time he’s been on the floor, Wemby has looked dominant. The scary part is that he’s already this good and he’s only going to get better as the experience builds.

I’m not sure how good Wemby can be but the hype is only going to rise once he gets on the national stage. Not only do I predict that Wemby will be considered a top 10 player in the NBA by the end of the season but I also believe that he’s going to make the NBA All-Star team.

Not only will the international vote help Wemby get a place on the All-Star team but the respect that he’s going to gain from his peers through his play. The only potential hurdle that could stand between Wemby and a breakout rookie season is being limited by Gregg Popovich. He has a history of bringing rookies along slowly.

However, Wemby will be so good that Pop will have to play him.
