Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers
Myles Turner is another center who could find his way to the trade block this season. The whispers surrounding Turner’s future with the Pacers are likely to pop up once again soon. After this season, he has just one year remaining on his contract and unless the Pacers take a big step forward this year, there’s going to be a fair argument that states Turner’s timeline may not match up with the franchises.
Turner will be 28 years old this season and is in the prime of his career. If the Pacers aren’t ready to win, maybe it would be in their best interest to trade him. Coming off a season in which he averaged 18 points and eight rebounds on 55 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range, he’d be a clear upgrade for the Grizzlies.
If the Pacers get off to a rough start and tumble out of the gate, perhaps there’s a scenario where Turner is once again on the trade block. If that is something that does end up happening, the Grizzlies would be an interesting potential landing spot as a center that would make a huge difference for the team on both ends of the floor.
