Bradley Beal, Phoenix Suns
In what ended up being the first big move of the offseason, the Phoenix Suns put all their chips in the middle of the table and traded for Bradley Beal. After Beal finally requested a trade by flexing his no-trade clause, the Suns emerged as the team that Beal wanted to be moved to. Creating one of the best big threes in the NBA, the Suns entered the season as one of the favorites to win it all. With as much offensive talent as the Suns have, it’s easy to see why.
However, the Suns won’t be able to accomplish much this season if they’re not healthy. So far this season, Bradley Beal is one of the bigger underwhelming stars in the league. Through three games, Beal has not yet made his season debut. And it’s already been reported that he’s listed as out for the Suns’ fourth game. I understand that the Suns are likely going to play it safe when it comes to Beal’s health but it’s not great that he has yet to play in a game yet.
Maybe this all ends up working out for the Suns in the long run but the Suns aren’t winning anything in the postseason without Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant all healthy.
