When the Charlotte Hornets drafted Brandon Miller over Scoot Henderson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, many believed this would end up being a big mistake to set the franchise back a few years. However, through the first two weeks of the season, the Hornets have been proven right. It’s still early on in their careers, but Miller has looked like the better player between the two.

In six games this season, Miller is averaging 13 points and five rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field. Miller is still trying to find his stride as a member of the Hornets but the offensive talent is undeniable. Miller hasn’t been the can’t-miss prospect that the Hornets need him to be considering he was selected with the No. 2 overall pick, but Miller has given the team much promise.

If Miller can find his offensive rhythm, there’s a chance he can push the top 2 players on this list late in the season. It will be interesting to see if he can get to that point.
