Golden State Warriors: Trending upward

The Golden State Warriors had one of the more polarizing offseasons. They traded away Jordan Poole and brought in Chris Paul – both of those decisions could respectively be viewed as good and bad. However, so far, they’ve seemed to have worked out for the Warriors. Golden State flipped the switch to start the year and look like a team that is ready to climb the championship mountain once again.

Through the first two weeks of the season, the Warriors are 6-2. Considering how inconsistent the team was all throughout last season, it’s hard not to look at how the team has started and not consider it an encouraging sign. Golden State may not have the record-breaking offense anymore but they’re still one of the best in the league. If their defense can catch up, this is a dangerous team that is just going to get better and more comfortable as the season unwinds.

The key moving forward for such a veteran-laden team all revolves around health. If the Warriors can remain relatively healthy, this is a team that could win it all.
