Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a top 10 best player in the NBA

Before the start of the offseason, ESPN made waves by naming Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as one of the 10 best players in the NBA heading into this season. Even though he was coming off an encouraging season, many questioned whether he would be able to continue to live up to the momentum that he had created. And through the first few games of the season, SGA appears to be doing so.

In eight games played this season, SGA is averaging 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists per game on 52 percent shooting from the field. His individual performance is also starting to rub off on the rest of the team as the Oklahoma City Thunder is 5-4 and ranked in the top 6 of the early Western Conference standings.

It’s too early to tell if the Thunder are going to be able to remain in the top 6 or even make the playoffs but SGA is clearly emerging as one of the best players in the NBA. He’s certainly one of the best offensive players at the moment.

Verdict: Buy
