The Chicago Bulls are dead in the water
Who would’ve known that the Chicago Bulls running back the same team would result in the same outcome? I know it’s hard to believe but the Bulls are 3-6 and appear to be dead in the water. It’s come to the point that there’s a very good chance the Bulls end up being big sellers at the NBA Trade Deadline. DeMar DeRozan is an expiring contract and this core doesn’t appear to have much upside.
If something doesn’t change quickly, and it’s hard to believe why it would, the Bulls should probably think hard about retooling or even a complete rebuild. Honestly, I thought this was probably the move that the Bulls should’ve done during the offseason. Nevertheless, I’d give the Bulls another few weeks to figure things out. But I don’t give this team much hope of turning the corner.
It’s time for the Bulls to pivot. They’re dead in the water and don’t have much hope of making a move up the Eastern Conference standings. Let’s be real.
