7. Miami Heat

Getting off to a 1-4 start to the season, it was easy to be down and somewhat concerned about the Miami Heat. However, they are currently one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment. Even with Tyler Herro out due to injury, the Heat has found a way to shake off the early slow start to the season. Bam Adebayo has been a big reason why. If you’ve watched the Heat closely, you know that he’s performed at an MVP level.

He’s almost single-handedly kept the Heat afloat in the Eastern Conference. Jimmy Butler has also begun to play better as of late and has emerged as one of the best 3-point shooters on the team. If there’s one player that has made a huge impact on the Heat recently, it’s the reemergence of Duncan Robinson.

He’s been masterful so far this season and is averaging 14 points per game on 46 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent shooting from 3-point range (on nearly eight attempts per contest). It’ll be interesting to see if this recent streak is sustainable for the Heat or not. But a lot of people counting this team out way too early.
