23. Utah Jazz
At 4-8, the Utah Jazz are basically where many thought they would be through the first month of the season. The Jazz is a team that has some intriguing young talent on the roster but also one that lacks the proper experience and veteran pieces to make much noise in the Western Conference.
The Jazz has a big decision to make regarding its future. Are they going to try to expedite the rebuild to try and go all-in on the Lauri Markkanen window or are they going to take it slowly? If they do the latter, that probably means they need to trade Markkanen at some point soon. Right now, the Jazz is not equipped to win with Markkanen, but that could change quickly with Danny Ainge in the front office.
You’d have to imagine that how this season plays out could end up determining how the Jazz chooses to elect which path to take. Either way, it should be an interesting next few months in Utah.
