NBA: 1 Underrated player every team should be thankful to have on their roster
Oklahoma City Thunder
Jalen Williams
The Oklahoma City Thunder may have arrived. They’re currently in the top 4 of the Western Conference standings and one of the more underrated reasons why is Jalen Williams. When speaking on the Thunder, many quickly jump to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren. However, Jalen Williams has been the team’s second-best player this season.
Williams is averaging a career-high 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists per game on 52 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent shooting from 3-point range. The Thunder seem to have found another diamond in the rough in Williams.
Orlando Magic
Franz Wagner
The Orlando Magic have the look of being a playoff team in the Eastern Conference. And while Paolo Banchero is considered the heart and soul of the Magic, Franz Wagner has been the best player for the team so far this season. During his third season in Orlando, Wagner is averaging 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists on 42 percent shooting from the field.
Let’s be real; without Wagner, the Magic wouldn’t be as impressive as they’ve looked so far this season.
