Portland Trail Blazers
Shaedon Sharpe
It hasn’t been an ideal first few weeks of the season for the Portland Trail Blazers, especially considering the shaky start that Scoot Henderson has gotten off to, but there has been one big bright spot for the team. And that’s Shaedon Sharpe. After the Anfernee Simons injury, it was natural to feel bad about the Blazers.
However, Sharpe has given the fan base confidence that this team is heading in the right direction. Sharpe is having a breakout season in which he’s averaging 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists on 41 percent shooting from the field.
Sacramento Kings
Domantas Sabonis
The Sacramento Kings got off to a somewhat slow start to the season but they’re beginning to look more and more like the team that shocked everyone last year to finish third in the Western Conference standings. And while De’Aaron Fox is probably the biggest reason why, Domantas Sabonis is not a player the Kings should overlook.
He’s been a key part in the Kings’ resurgence and if this team is going to take another step forward in the West, Sabonis is likely going to play a huge role in that. The Kings should be happy he’s on their side.
