Detroit Pistons

Jalen Duren

As one of the most talented young rosters in the Eastern Conference, there is plenty for the Detroit Pistons to be thankful for. But Jalen Duren has been a pleasant surprise so far this season for the Pistons, so much so that he completely alters the ceiling for this team moving forward if he can maintain how good he’s been of late.

During his sophomore season in the league, Duren is averaging 12 points and 11 rebounds on 62 percent shooting from the field. It seems like Duren is finding his footing in the league and the sky is the limit for his skill set and athleticism.

Golden State Warriors

Andrew Wiggins

Being a somewhat polarizing acquisition a few years ago, Andrew Wiggins has emerged as one of the most important players for the Golden State Warriors. You can make the argument that he was the second-best player on the Warriors when they won the NBA Championship a couple of years ago. He’s altered the current championship window for the Warriors too.

Even though he hasn’t gotten to a great start to this season, there’s hope that Wiggins can turn things around and if he does, it will also help get the Warriors back on track.
