12. San Antonio Spurs (via Toronto) - Kyle Filipowski, F, Duke
After adding a dynamic point guard with their first-round pick in this NBA Mock Draft, there's also a chance that the San Antonio Spurs could find themselves with a second selection. With the Toronto Raptors struggling to be a player in the Eastern Conference, if they continue to be a middling team, the Spurs could be awarded an additional selection in the lottery. If they do, they could take a flier on a prospect such as Kyle Filipowski.
Filipowski was a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school a couple of seasons ago. However, after his freshman season at Duke, he decided to return for a sophomore season in an attempt to win a title with the Blue Devils but also wanted to raise his draft stock. So far, it looks like he'll have a decent chance to do both.
During his first few games with the Blue Devils this season, Filipowski is averaging 19 points and eight rebounds on 56 percent shooting from the field. As a 7-foot forward/center, he remains one of the most intriguing prospects in this year's draft class.
